The electro-permanent lifting magnet needs only 5% of the electricity of that of the electromagnet. Hence, it is more energy-saving. 2. The electro-permanent lifting magnet doesn't need any system to keep clamping the workpiece in case of a blackout or voltage instability. So, the maintenance cost is lower than the electromagnet lift.
As long as the magnetic force is enough to lift the steel plates, it's better to use an electro-permanent lifting magnet for multiple sheets.
