Steel plate lifting magnets of HVR MAG are made of electro-permanent magnets. Also called electrically switched permanent magnets. It use an electric current to control the switching of the magnet’s magnetism. But do not require an electric current to maintain the magnetism. Because the magnetic field comes from the permanent magnet material inside. This makes it very safe as the magnetism will not be lost due to power failure or overheating of the internal coils.

If you are still concerned, you can place a thin rubber pad between the steel plate and the magnet. There will be a very small gap of about 0.2 to 0.5 mm between them.

There are no moving parts inside HVR lifting magnets. Therefore, the likelihood of part failure is very low. Normally, as long as the temperature does not exceed the permissible range, the magnetic force of the permanent magnet used in our products will not decrease by more than 5% in 10 years. Unlike electromagnets, there is no possibility of the coils burning out.
