There are many types of end effectors for robots. The most commonly used are pneumatic grippers which are simpler and cheaper than electric ones. Today we talk about the robot magnetic end effector which belongs to the electric gripper.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hvrmagnet.com\/category\/magnets-for-industiral-automation-5.html\"><em>Magnetic grippers<\/em><\/a>\u00a0 V.S. vacuum cups for robot end effectors<\/h3>\n<p>The magnetic end effector is mainly for ferrous material handling in structural fabrication, construction machinery, and other metalworking factories. Compared with the well-known vacuum suction cup grippers, magnetic grippers have stronger construction that needs minimum maintenance (the former needs regular changes of rubber cups). What\u2019s more, the correctness of magnetic grippers\u2019 grasping is higher than that of suction cups. Needless to say, magnetic grippers can handle metal parts with holes, while vacuum cups cannot.
